If you follow me on Ravelry, Twitter, and Facebook you've probably seen me talking up Judy Marples' new pattern, the Estonian Dreams Shawl. I highly recommend giving any of her patterns a try!
I've also been promising you a free pattern for my top-down, go-to vanilla sock. I'm still not ready to officially release it because ... life. But if you're interested in a no-frills version , here's a link to the Google Doc (for personal use only).

Somehow I managed to get all of my knitting (carry-on included) past the security checks #WINNING!
I think it may have had something to do with the fact that they were made out of wood ... Wood is good!
In other news, I'm back on a spinning kick! Bobbie of the Inspired Knitting vidcast recommended a Craftsy class "Spinning Dyed Fiber" hosted by Sweet Georgia Yarns' Felicia Lo. I have to say, it's an awesome class! Highly recommend — however it's more for advanced beginner spinners, not so much looki…
