Episode 171: The Tribe Has Spoken

Ripping a page out of Hoxton's notebook (from The Electric Sheep podcast) and calling this a "bumper episode!" ... in other words, it's going to be a long one!

This weekend Mina (Knitting Expat Podcast) will be in NYC, and you know what that means ... podcaster meet-up! We'll be meeting Jennie (Tiny Paper Foxes), Carlene (Made With Carlenergy), and Maria (Subway Knits), at Gauge and Tension, for the Plucky Knitter Trunk Show. Can't wait to hang out with this awesome bunch, again!

Not a great week in sewing. I tried making the Fifi, a sewing pattern by Tilly and the Buttons. Unfortunately, the camisole turned out way too small — so small, I acutally had to CUT MYSELF OUT OF MY SEWING!

However, not all is lost. I did learn to French seam!

I've always wanted to be able to speak German fluently. So lately, I've been trying to learn by immersing myself in the language. This week I've been enjoying the Creative.Mother.Thinking, a knitting podcast spoken entirely in German.

If I missed something, feel free to ask me in the YarnGasm Ravelry Group.
