Spicy Curry Hummus



Thanks to all this Tax Tea Party hullabaloo, my boss doesn't need me to come in until 3:00 pm today! (of course that means I won't be coming home until 12am!)... ah the life of a video editor in the news world. So, I've taken the morning to get some much needed cleaning done, knitting, and hummus making!

  • 1 can chick peas (half drained)
  • splash of vinegar
  • splash of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Tahini
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • dash of cayenne pepper (to taste)
  • salt & pepper ( to taste)
Combine ingredients in food processor. Add a little water to dilute it to your liking. I prefer mine thick and chunky! Pour in bowl, sprinkle with Paprika and cilantro. Enjoy!
